I am writing to you today about my friend, Karen McCullough, who has a special day today with her daughter Meredith. They have just released their book ‘The Seven Women Project’. I am one of their biggest fans.
I first met Karen by attending one of her seminars on branding. I felt a real connection to her as soon as she started speaking. It was if she was just talking to me. She answered so many questions I had as a new business owner. That day I learned that in order to be successful you need to be true to yourself (your brand). After her awesome presentation, I just had to meet her in person so I went up and introduced myself. She had several different seminars on CD’s available for purchase. She told me, “I really think you will get a lot out this one”. It was a seminar entitled, ‘The Seven Women’. I played it in my car on the way home and was so blown away by what she was saying. I really started to see the parts of my life I was not nurturing and how important it was to get to know all of these women in my life.
Fast forward a bit. I have listened to this CD numerous times. I started to see in my own business of Interior Decorating that my clients needed to nurture these women as well through their homes. I could see the strength of each of the women in my clients, it helped me to better understand their personal style and how they could try to see if for themselves.
What I discovered was that the “Classic Kate” clients preferred symmetrical and balanced looks for decorating.

Those who preferred feminine embellishments were “Girlie Girl Gwen’s”.

“Dramatic Donna’s” love bold colors and items that catch the attention of others.

My “Hanging-Out Hanna” clients definitely wanted comfort.

What I have learned from ‘The Seven Women’ on a personal level is that we as women are connected and I have each one of these women in me. Creating more balance for myself can be achieved by nurturing and allowing these women to be a part of my life. I hope you get a chance to read the book and go to website The Seven Women Project to join the community.
Thank you Karen for all that you have done for me and being a mentor, and Meredith I look forward to connecting with you more in the future.

Happy Decorating!
Karen
